Leaders from seven faith communities – Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Christianity and Bramakumari – launched the Interfaith Forum on 18th July 2018, to work together against the issue of human trafficking. The leaders were united on the grounds of compassion and justice. They believed it was the responsibility of every individual, irrespective of their backgrounds, to protect the poor from violence and exploitation.
