OUR SERVICE CONTINUES AMIDST COVID-19 PANDEMIC
IJM India is in solidarity with international, national authorities and other organizations working hard to address the global spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Our utmost gratitude and respect to government officials, medical professionals, law enforcers, care givers, service providers in the emergency sectors and everyone else risking their well-being and working on the front lines around the clock to facilitate an adequate response.
In compliance with the community quarantines being implemented in several areas across the country, our employees in India have been working from their homes for their own protection and for the safety of their communities since Monday, March 16.
While this current arrangement limits our mobility and our work in general, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of justice for victims of human trafficking. Our teams continue to be available to support the government as needed.
We urge everyone to continue observing good personal hygiene habits and quarantine and social distancing procedures as prescribed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Government of India to combat the spread of COVID-19.
We look forward to overcoming this together and coming out stronger!
Thank you and stay safe!
